KECSAP stands for Kuriakose Elias Chavara Social Action Program. “A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step” and this each little step is nothing but our donations to raise a fund for caring the needy ones. Sometimes we collect it from the Food Fest, sometimes from the Charity Money. We believe that Helping Hands are better than praying lips’. Free tuition , tailoring classes, spoken English training, distribution of chicks and goats, free dispensary facilities and eye checkup with cataract operation camps, permanent home for staff are the major social Action programs run by the K.E Carmel Group Of Schools .At present K.E.C.S , Behala is running two of the programs namely, distribution of nutritious cooked food every Tuesdays to the family members of the patients of N.R.S Hospital and distribution of 50 Ananda Bazar Patrika newspapers among the students of two government schools situated in our locality.
