GRAND PARENTS DAY CELEBRATION

“A grandparent’s love is strong and deep, filled with memories to treasure and keep”

Grandparents are valuable resources in our lives as they have so many stories and experiences from their own lives to share. They also offer a link to a child’s cultural heritage and family history. So, to pay tribute to the grandparents K.E Carmel C.M.I school celebrates Grand Parents Day on 14 th November in the school auditorium. After the Children’s Day Celebration, we start up with the Grand Parents Day Celebration. The purpose of keeping the Grand Parents Day celebration on Children’s Day is to glorify the bond between the grandparents and the grandchildren. Grandparents are welcomed with a rose and then several programs are arranged to entertain them. Our dear Grandparents also perform different cultural activities like song, recitation and some of them also share their valuable thoughts about the importance of grandchildren in their lives. They feel proud when they see their grandchildren performing before them. At the end, the school receives endless blessings from the valued grandparents.
