ETHNIC DAY 2026 - 27

KECS Behala vibrantly celebrated its annual Ethnic Day on Thursday, July 9, 2026. The campus transformed into a spectacular mosaic of colors and traditions as students and staff gathered to honor and celebrate cultural diversity. The general student body enthusiastically embraced the theme, arriving at school in a magnificent array of traditional and diverse ethnic attire representing various cultures. The programme kicked off with high-energy cultural performances. Participants from various classes delivered beautifully choreographed dances, melodious songs, and engaging skits, all while dressed in elaborate, expressive costumes.

The highlight of the day was the highly anticipated two-division fashion show:
Blast from the Past: Younger participants from Nursery to Class V took a nostalgic trip through time, walking the ramp in stunning vintage and historical traditional wear brought from home.
Best from the Waste: Senior students from Classes VI to X showcased remarkable ingenuity. Utilizing costumes provided at the venue, they walked the ramp demonstrating how sustainability and style can seamlessly merge through recycled and eco-friendly designs.
